General
If you are feeling at all unwell, particularly with fever, sore throat and/or cough – please do not book an appointment until you are symptom free. If you have an appointment please contact me as early as possible to reschedule.
Massage Therapy is for therapeutic purpose for general wellness, stress reduction and relief of muscular tension. It is not a substitute for medical treatment or examination.
If you have a history or are currently dealing with a undiagnosed or serious health condition, please check with your GP or Medical Professional before seeking massage therapy.
A medical history form will be filled out at your first appointment and will be updated on any subsequent visits. If I deem that you are unsuitable for a massage the appointment will not take place and you may still be charged.
If you have any questions regarding an issue that may be a contra-indication to a massage please let me know before your appointment, or if possible before you book.

Please allow time to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time to allow for your pre-massage consultation. Lateness may result in the reduction or cancellation of your appointment.
Your appointment is not confirmed unless you receive an email confirmation from my booking system. If you have not had one within an hour of booking, please contact me ASAP.
I am no longer able offer evening or weekend appointments. For my updated typical hours, please visit the contact page, and to view my current availability, check the booking page. Please note that my hours may change over the next few months.
Please note:
I do not offer on the day appointments.
I only offer the treatments available on the services page.
I do not massage anyone under the age of 18 years old.
I am only trained in prone and supine massages using a massage bed.
Inappropriate Behaviour
All of the treatments I provide are for professional massage purposes only. I hold the right to refuse any treatment of a client and ban them from further treatment at my discretion.
Inappropriate behaviour includes, but is no limited to, physical or verbal abuse towards me, suggestive behaviour, aggressiveness/rudeness and sexual behaviour. Such behaviours will not be tolerated and will result in a total ban from further treatments, and may also result in criminal proceedings.
All clients are required to keep lower underwear (knickers, boxers etc) on at all times. If it discovered during the massage that this is not the case, the massage will cease and you will be offered no further treatment. I also ask that you please do not change until I have left the room.
Client Therapist Confidentiality
I treat my clients with the upmost respect and expect the same in return. The details and information you give me will not be shared unless medically or legally required.
Pre-massage consultation forms are kept in a secure online location. If you would like to know more about this or wish for your data to be deleted please contact me.
Cancellation Policy
You can cancel or rearrange an appointment up to 24 hours in advance using the links provided in your confirmation email. If you need to make changes less than 24 hours in advance, please contact me via email (danielle@utterlyrelaxed.co.uk).
Cancellations
Any cancellation made less than 24 hours before an appointment will be noted on your record. Repeat cancellation of appointments may incur a charge of the full amount of appointments missed and the ability to book future appointments will be suspended until the fee is paid.
In the event that I need to cancel an appointment due to emergency or illness, I will inform you at the earliest opportunity and contact you to make suitable alternative arrangements.
No Shows
Missing an appointment without any prior contact will result in the suspension of your booking account and invoice being sent for the total amount of the appointment missed. You will not be able to book again until payment is received.
Late Arrivals
If you are more than 10 mins late for your service, I may not be able to accommodate your appointment. I will do my best to reschedule your service for another time that is mutually convenient. You may also be charged for any appointment that I am unable to accommodate.
Contact
Due to the nature of my work, I am unable to take phone calls—all communication is done through contact forms/email. I do my best to reply within 24-48 hours or by my next working day. If you don’t hear back by then, please check your spam or junk folder, just in case. If there’s still nothing, feel free to send me another email.
If I need to cancel, I’ll always contact you via email first. For emergency cancellations, I’ll try to call as a last resort, but please note the number I’ll use isn’t tied to the business and cannot be used to book or manage appointments.
My workspace
Appointments take place in my massage studio which is in the garden of my home address. There are a couple of small steps required to access the studio.
I do not offer mobile massage.
I am only able to accommodate one client on the premises at a time as I have no waiting room. I am also not able to offer couples massage.
Please park on the drive if space is available to reduce impact on my neighbours.
Hygiene
Due to the nature of the treatments I provide and the need for close contact, I maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and I expect my clients to do the same.
My studio is cleaned thoroughly between clients and is deep-cleaned at the end of every day.
If I am unwell suffering from a cold or virus, infection or general ill health, I will not work due to the risks of cross contamination. If this is the case I will contact you to inform you of the issue at the earliest opportunity to make suitable alternative arrangements.
